CCSF does their best to help student with whatever they require, whether it be help planning your study path or even financial aid. Everyone is nice, and they will try their best to help you!
It’s a good community college to go to, they have great resources to help students in need. They provide free college grants for San Francisco residents, meal programs to help get campus food, etc.
I’ve had a pretty great experience with being a student at City College so far! Besides having to wait for quite a while for a textbook I ordered from the bookstore my experience has been pleasant.
As a recent high school graduate attending City College of San Francisco, my experience made me feel isolated at times. Every time I walk on campus it's quiet and feels like a ghost town. Nothing there excites me, and everybody is shy. Some of the teachers are nice and engaging while some are careless and don't give support. This is my second semester at City and I truly don't like it anymore. My teachers are amazing but the environment is not for me and I'm glad that I have figured that out. As a first-time college student, I didn't expect my freshmen year to have a lot of trials and tribulation. I met some cool people who made me realize that there is more beyond City College and more opportunities that will give and support me in my decisions. Some things that I like about the City that they have a good public transportation system and exciting career pathways. Some changes I hope City does is to be more engaging for future scholars, add more curricular activities, more sports to play
My college experience was transformative. I appreciated the diverse academic offerings, extracurricular opportunities, and the chance to meet people from various backgrounds. The supportive faculty, engaging courses, and access to resources like libraries and research facilities enriched my learning journey. However, I believe there's room for improvement in terms of mental health support services, as well as more emphasis on practical skill development and real-world application of knowledge. Additionally, fostering a more inclusive and equitable campus culture would enhance the overall experience for everyone. Overall, my college experience was positive, but there's always room for growth and enhancement.
I love the atmosphere really nice environment the teachers are wonderful. The students all showed up ready to learn everyone is taking school seriously this year. I was really lucky to have gotten into the illustration class that I did the teacher was extremely helpful I’m very thankful for the opportunity and really looking forward to studying at Ccsf
City College of San Francisco has provided me with the best experience possible. All professors are incredibly dedicated to their students and willing to deliver the best education and help. As an international student, I always had the support necessary, and my experience is positive and inspiring.

The best thing I've experienced at City College of San Francisco is my professors. They are super helpful and understand their students' difficulties.
Caring teachers and staff. I attended during COVID-19 so it was a mess to make things online, but professors worked hard to make the experience good.
City College of San Francisco provides excellent professors and good quality education. I am so happy and proud to be a student at this college.
CCSF is a great institution for all. Students planning to transfer to a four year university, nontraditional students, professionals seeking additional certificates, and much more. It's also a community college that has many resources beyond the required federal ones; a queer resource center, many smaller learning communities - and that's just on the main campus.
Most professors are kind and reasonable - let them know if you need help, support, or if there's a reason why you can't complete assignments, they'll work with you.
I'd especially recommend CCSF to students that aren't financially able to go straight to a four-year.

Growing up as an African American under a restricted and supporting background really shaped my state of being drastically, resulting in personal attributes that ranges from being an Independent philomath to a partial introvert as well. Moreover, coming over to the U.S as someone that’s both part of the minority and also different from the existing minorities internally, did shape my point of view in a significant way. Despite the peer group pressure in which smoking and violence was necessary to be a part of the neighborhood, my resilience and tenacity to resist and be the true positive individual I was raised to be, still remains remarkable. While City college of San Francisco does provide adequate courses and limited resources, the sense of communication present is quite a 1-star rating to me. Considering how marginalized the nation emerged and also how the first amendment freedom of speech has been over-utilized, the experience of constant discrimination from professors is a norm.
Hi, I am a fashion design major and going to CCSF for my associates was the best decision I have ever made, my professor went above and beyond to help me to be the best version of myself. Additionally, with the help of Fashion scholarship department I and 2 other fashion students got a full ride scholarship to Academy of Art University. Coming to CCSF has change my life and I am so grateful to all my professor that helped me reach my goals.
I can’t speak much about my experience at CCSF since I’m a new student that is enrolling this year but I do hope to have a great time and hopefully transfer to my dream 4 year college afterwards.
He has good and dedicated teachers in the early education classes that I am taking with them. When I took some online courses, they also gave me the orientation to be able to manage the education system and thus be able to have virtual classes and finish my classes.
I love how close to home it has been. So it has given me the opportunity to grow my academic knowledge without having to leave family yet. I don’t have any changes to be made they’re doing a wonderful job
