Kennesaw State did not have the best reputation a few years ago. I would say this school has both negative and positive aspects. The level of academics is competitive and rigorous. The class courses and majors truly provide an understanding of desired topics and information. The advisement team seems ready to help as soon as you are enrolled as a student. There are many clubs, groups, and organizations to help you succeed. The campus has great facilities such as athletics, laboratories, and study-friendly zones. Some negatives include difficulty registering. So many students trying to get small classes can be difficult. The parking is probably one of the absolute worst aspects. You may walk a mile just because parking is full.

I have attended Kennesaw State for two years now, and it has its ups and downs. One thing I do love about KSU are the dorm rooms, the Week of Welcome Events and Get in Gear Events, the Diversity of all the clubs and people, as well as the home feeling the campus has. One dislike I have is the change in meal plan. Students are not allowed to swipe other people in even if they have 100 swipes left. I also don't like the change in Res Life and Housing Department. Upper class-men were told that the Kennesaw campus would become an all freshman living community. Kennesaw has limited housing space.

Their dining hall is wonderful and is ranked very high. Their staff is amazing and is always helpful. The size of the overall campus is not too big or not too small. Everything is within a walking distance and is easy to reach. Their buildings are nice and well maintained and there is plenty of parking options available. I have heard though that housing is very expensive and is overpriced as well as the meal plan that they make all of the students purchase even though plenty of students choose to commute instead of live on campus.
