UNCW's College of Health and Human Services Commissions New Corbett Anatomy Lab
UNCW celebrates the College of Health and Human Services' new Corbett Anatomy Lab. The College of Health and Human Services will use this space to provide the UNCW community with which to engage in new research and technology. The lab will help students provide hands-on opportunities for learning about human anatomy and experiencing the effects of diseases on the human body.

I LOVED my time at UNCW. I graduated last semester and was so sad to leave. I loved it so much that I am back on campus taking a course for my graduate school prerequisites. The campus is very walkable and gorgeous. There are many food options and the campus is situated right in the middle of town, so nothing is ever more than 15 minutes away. The campus is the perfect size for someone who wants to see familiar faces often, but doesn't want to know everyone. The faculty and staff are the most amazing people I have ever met. The professors make great strides to make sure students succeed. The school is always providing activities for the students. There are movie showings, concerts, tables to stop by for free snacks and swag between classes. The campus also has a great partnership with the community so students have a million opportunities to get involved outside the class. I highly recommend this school to anyone who will listen! I will cherish the memories I have made here forever!
I transferred to UNCW in 2022 and I have loved every semester. As an Environmental Science student with a minor in Sustainability, the professors , along with the classes I have taken, have been instrumental in guiding me on my pathway. The campus itself is inviting, with a vivid atmosphere that highlights nature. With the Recycling Center and goals to keep litter at bay, I'm grateful UNCW offers students ways to protect our environment. Student life is amazing, as well! My friends and I love going to the sporting events and cheering on our fellow Seahawks. And with a wide variety of clubs and organizations, it would be very hard for a student to not find their niche. While I have loved my time at UNCW, one thing I would like to see change would be adequate parking for those who commute. Lack of parking spots for commuters causes problems and is a safety concern, especially at night for women.
I love UNCW! The campus is gorgeous, which makes going outside and walking to class more enjoyable. The students and faculty here are genuinely friendly and want to get to know you. Something that I really love about the school is how many opportunities you get offered as a Freshman, you can be part of FYRE (First Year Research Experience), internships, and UNCW Weekends. All of the professors I have had so far are very flexible and genuinely want you to succeed in your class and your career field. They are always willing to set up a meeting with you to help you understand the contents of class or to discuss your major and opportunities after graduation. Regarding my social life, I love going to the beach after class with my friends and watching the sunset together. I also love visiting downtown Wilmington and checking out new places to eat and window shop. Go Seahawks!
